Crompton Social Media Reel Campaign

  1. These Terms and Conditions ("T&Cs") govern the Crompton Social Media Reel Campaign ("Campaign") being conducted by Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited ("CGCEL" / "Company") between 20 December 2025 to 25 January, 2026 ("Campaign Period"). By participating in the Campaign, each participant ("Participant") agrees to be bound by these T&Cs.
  2. Individual customers who lawfully purchase a unit of Crompton Large Kitchen Appliances (LKA) products of minimum invoice value Rs 16000.00 during the Campaign Period are eligible to participate. Employees of CGCEL, its affiliates, marketing agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
  3. Participants must create and upload an Instagram Reel featuring Crompton products, within the Campaign period communicated by CGCEL. The Reel must:
    • Tag the official Crompton Instagram handle.
    • Comply with Instagram’s community guidelines, ASCI Advertising Code, Indian consumer protection laws, and any platform-specific rules.
    • Contain no false, misleading, defamatory, offensive, or comparative claims.
    • must be original content created by the Participant and must not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
  4. CGCEL will evaluate all eligible entries based on the following criteria:

    • Engagement will be evaluated based on public metrics visible to CGCEL.
    • The decision of CGCEL’s evaluation panel shall be final and binding.
    • Rewards are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other benefit.
    • CGCEL reserves the right to withdraw or modify rewards at its sole discretion without prior notice.
    • The Participant’s Instagram profile must be kept public to enable access and evaluation of the submitted Reel.
    • Any Reel submitted under the Campaign may be used by CGCEL for promotional and marketing purposes, including on its website, microsites, and social media platforms, without any additional compensation.
    • Final selection shall be subject to submission and verification of valid proof of purchase of a LKA product during the Campaign Period, failing which the entry may be disqualified.
  5. By participating, the Participant grants CGCEL a royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use, reproduce, publish, share, and modify the Reel (including the Participant’s name, likeness, Instagram handle, and entry details) for promotional, advertising, or commercial purposes across any media and no additional consideration will be payable for such use.
  6. Participation is voluntary and does not influence discounts, trade margins, product supply, or any commercial terms between CGCEL and its channel partners. No preferential treatment shall be given to any dealer or customer based on participation or non-participation. CGCEL shall not request or accept any commercially sensitive information from dealers beyond what is necessary for the Campaign.
  7. The Reel must not contain:
    • Comparative statements against competitors
    • Misleading claims or unverifiable performance assertions
    • Obscene, defamatory, derogatory, communal, political, or inappropriate content
    • Music, visuals, or materials without valid rights or licenses
    • CGCEL reserves the right to disqualify any entry violating these norms.
  8. A Participant shall be disqualified if:
    • The submitted content violates law, platform policies, or these T&Cs
    • Engagement is artificially boosted through bots, paid likes, or manipulated means
    • Multiple entries are posted from duplicate or fake accounts
    • The Participant engages in any fraudulent or unethical conduct
  9. CGCEL shall not be liable for:
    • Any technical issues, network failures, or platform errors
    • Any loss, damage, or inability to participate due to factors beyond CGCEL’s control
    • Any third-party claims arising out of the Participant’s content
  10. By enrolling in and participating in this Program, each Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless CGCEL, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents against all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with any breach by the Participant of these terms and conditions or any misrepresentation.
  11. In case of any suspected or confirmed malpractice, manipulation, fraud, or violation of the Program terms, CGCEL reserves the absolute right to disqualify the concerned Participant and/or withhold or cancel any benefits due under the Program, without any liability.
  12. The interpretation, implementation, and administration of the Program shall be at the sole and absolute discretion of CGCEL. The decision of CGCEL in this regard shall be final, conclusive, and binding on all participants and shall not be subject to any challenge or appeal.
  13. By participating in this Program, the Participant expressly consents to the collection, use, processing, storage, and sharing of their personal data and transactional records by CGCEL and its authorized service providers, solely for purposes related to Program administration, verification, reward processing, customer communication, legal compliance, and internal analytics. Such data may also be used for future promotions, subject to applicable data protection laws.
  14. CGCEL reaffirms its commitment to protecting personal data in accordance with Indian data protection laws. Participant may request access, correction, or withdrawal of their data by contacting CGCEL’s support team via the details provided in the Crompton Privacy Policy. CGCEL shall not disclose personal data to unrelated third parties except with explicit consent or where mandated under law.
  15. CGCEL reserves the right to use anonymized and aggregated data derived from this Program for internal analysis, reporting, performance monitoring, and strategic planning of future promotional activities.
  16. By enrolling in and participating in this Program, each Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless CGCEL, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents against all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with any breach by the Participant of these terms and conditions or any misrepresentation.
  17. CGCEL reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to amend, modify, suspend, or cancel the Program, in part or whole, at any time without prior notice or assigning any reason. CGCEL shall not be liable for any loss or inconvenience caused to the Participant due to such cancellation or modification.
  18. All disputes arising out of or in connection with this Program shall be governed by the laws of India and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra.
