Coconut Rice 


2 cups white rice

2 cups coconut milk

1 cup coconut water

1 cup water

1 tsp salt

1 stalk lemongrass (optional)



Rinse the rice in some water, till you see the water running clear. Combine the rice, coconut milk, coconut water, regular water, and salt in the rice cooker. You can add a stalk of lemongrass if it suits your taste. It’s optional, but trust us when we say it’s delicious! One-Pot Chinese Rice


1 cup white rice

1 ½  tbsp soy sauce

1-1 ½ tbsp sugar

1 tbsp oil

Sliced spring onions

Sliced sausages (optional)

1 cup water



The beginning of every rice recipe begins with washing the rice in a bowl at least twice to remove the starch on it. Add the rice, soy sauce, sugar, oil, garlic, bell pepper, spring onions and sausages(if using) into the small rice cooker. Mix all the ingredients well. Feel free to be generous with the sauces, and add more or less according to your tastes. Cover the electric rice cooker, and set it to cook. After 15 minutes, the dish should be ready to serve. Garnish the rice with a few more spring onions and some Schezwan chilli sauce or any chilli sauce of your choice. The perfect dish mixed with veggies and proteins is ready within half an hour!


Saffron Rice


1 ½ cup basmati rice

1 cup chicken broth

2 tbsp lemon juice

A pinch of saffron 

2 tbsp butter

1 tsp salt



Gently rinse the basmati rice in a bowl to remove all the starch. Add the rice, chicken broth, lemon juice saffron, butter and salt to the rice cooker and mix it well. Set the rice maker to cook and leave it. After 15 minutes, fluff up the rice with a fork and serve it with your favourite curry dish.
